Airport ground vehicle operations

In the apron of any airport there are some areas reserved for ground vehicles and other aircraft servicing equipment, as well as emergency and safety vehicles, police vehicles, and more. Sky Light Parking Sensor is the perfect solution to monitor the occupation of parking bays and manage reserved parking spaces for airport ground vehicle operations.
For this purpose, Sky Light Parking Sensor has beacon BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology, which is useful to recognize users. In this way, a specific user or vehicle is associated with a reserved parking space.

Installing one Sky Light Parking Sensor in each parking space is the solution to knowing the number and position of vacant and occupied parking bays in the airport area in real time. Sky Light Sensor sends data to the server automatically when a parking bay reserved for airport ground vehicle operations becomes vacant or occupied.

Thanks to an application for smartphones, the system identifies whether the person who parked is authorized to stay in the specific bay. This can be useful to set alerts in case of irregular situations. Moreover, it is possible to display the exact position of each vehicle for ground operations on a map or integrate data in backend software.
