Traffic lights are one of the most used methods to control traffic. Local administrations are more and more interested in public transport priority systems, so to encourage the use of public transport over private vehicles in urban areas.

Sky Light Intersection System is an effective instrument for traffic management based on giving priority to public transport, both with reserved lanes and mixed lanes. This is due to the patented optical technology used to detect the length of vehicles with extreme precision and in real time.

Sky Light sensors monitor traffic and transmit information to the traffic light controller via radio through an interface card placed into the traffic controller cabinet.

The controller manages green and red intervals according to the actual traffic situation.
