THE PROJECT
The City of Trento published a tender to purchase LoRaWAN parking sensors to monitor bays reserved for people with disabilities and loading zones.
During the summer of 2021, 100 Sky Light Parking Sensors have been installed in the bays selected by the City in the center of Trento.
The sensors communicate each event in real-time, meaning when a parking bay becomes vacant or occupied.
This installation is part of the EU Horizon 2020 Smart Cities project. This project involves many European cities which are models of smart, highly efficient, intelligent, and citizen-oriented cities. For further information about the EU project visit https://stardustproject.eu/.
