Sky Light Parking Sensor “Essential”

Sky Light Parking Sensor Essential is a wireless sensor for monitoring parking occupancy.

Sensors are installed in the ground, typically one for each parking space, and they monitor when a vehicle parks and when it leaves, in real time. The sensor sends information to a server via LoRaWAN technology. The information sent by the sensors can be used for many applications thanks to the provided decoding protocols.

The Sky Light Parking Sensor Essential uses three different combined technologies for vehicle detection:

  • ambient light sensor;
  • active infrared sensor;
  • magnetic field sensor.

A unique algorithm combines all three measurements in real-time to give the most accurate data available.

Essential

The Essential sensor has been specifically designed to simplify and reduce the costs of purchase and installation on the ground, without compromising accuracy performance. The diameter of the installation hole is only 50 millimeters and can be made with a standard hammer drill and a core bit.
