Access to restricted areas

Controlling access to restricted areas is a critical task. Smart control of restricted areas means to create a system that controls automatic traffic barriers to let in authorised vehicles only.

Some of the applications can be parking areas reserved for employees in facilities, entrances reserved for the police force in particular areas, bus entrances in reserved parking zones, truck entrances to loading zones into commercial areas, and many more.

Sky Light wireless sensors are placed before the traffic barrier that delimits the restricted area. When a vehicle approaches a barrier or gate, a camera activates to recognise the plate number. If the vehicle is authorised to enter, the barrier opens automatically.

Sky Light Interface Card transmits information to the local control unit that actuates the camera.
