THE PROJECT
The Municipality of San Benedetto del Tronto (Italy) started a project for traffic monitoring in the city with our partner ResIOT which is an expert in IoT communication networks and LoRaWAN technology.
About 90 Sky Light Traffic Sensors have been installed to transmit traffic data to a LoRaWAN server at pre-established time intervals.
The goal is to create a database with traffic information to draw up a traffic plan that also takes into account the data collected.
